【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversanozone-resistantinsulatingcompoundforelectricalwireandcables14AWGandlarger.Thiscompoundconsistssubstantiallyofathermoplasticelastomer.Thistypeofinsulationissuitableforcontinuousoperationatconductortemperaturesnotexceeding90?Cindrylocationsand75?Cinwetlocations.Operatingvoltagesarenottoexceed2000V.Theminimuminstallationtemperatureis40?C.Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarethestandard,whilethoseinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Inmanyinstancestheinsulationmaterialcannotbetestedunlessithasbeenformedaroundaconductororcable.Therefore,testsaredoneoninsulatedwireorcableinthisdocumentsolelytodeterminetherelevantpropertyoftheinsulationmaterialandnottotesttheconductororcompletedcable.
