【摘要】:ThispartofEN71specifiesthecategoriesofflammablematerialswhichareprohibitedinalltoys,andrequirementsconcerningflammabilityofcertaintoyswhentheyaresubjectedtoasmallsourceofignition.Thetestmethodsdescribedinclause5areusedforthepurposesofdeterminingtheflammabilityoftoysundertheparticulartestconditionsspecified.Thetestresultsthusobtainedcannotbeconsideredasprovidinganoverallindicationofthepotentialfirehazardoftoysormaterialswhensubjectedtoothersourcesofignition.Thispartincludesgeneralrequirementsrelatingtoalltoysandspecificrequirementsandmethodsoftestrelatingtothefollowingtoys,whichareconsideredasbeingthosepresentingthegreatesthazard:—toystobewornontheheadwhichincludebeards,moustaches,wigs,etc,madefromhair,pileormaterialwithsimilarfeatures,mouldedandfabricmasksandflowingmaterialattachedtohats,masks,etc.butexcludingpapernoveltyhatsofthetypeusuallysuppliedinpartycrackers;—toydisguisecostumesandtoysintendedtobewornbyachildinplay—toysintendedtobeenteredbyachild—softfilledtoys(animalsanddolls,etc.)withapiledsurfaceortextilesurface.NOTEAdditionalrequirementsforflammabilityofelectrictoysarespecifiedinEN50088SafetyofElectricToys.
