【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheperformancerequirementsandtestmethodsforsmallsteamsterilizersandsterilizationcycleswhichareusedformedicalpurposesorformaterialsthatarelikelytocomeintocontactwithbloodorbodyfluids.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestoautomaticallycontrolledsmallsteamsterilizersthatgeneratesteamusingelectricalheatersorusesteamthatisgeneratedbyasystemexternaltothesterilizer.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestosmallsteamsterilizersusedprimarilyforthesterilizationofmedicaldevicesandunabletoaccommodateasterilizationmodule(300mm×300mm×600mm)andwithachambervolumenotexceeding60litres.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotapplytosmallsteamsterilizersthatareusedtosterilizeliquidsorpharmaceuticalproducts.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifysafetyrequirementsrelatedtorisksassociatedwiththezoneinwhichthesterilizerisused(e.g.flammablegases).ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifyrequirementsforthevalidationandroutinecontrolofsterilizationbymoistheat.NOTERequirementsforthevalidationandroutinecontrolofsterilizationbymoistheataregiveninEN554,whichmayalsobeappliedforsmallsteamsterilizers.
