【摘要】:Thisgenericspecificationrelatestopassivefilterunitsforelectromagneticinterferencesuppressionforusewithin,orassociatedwith,electronicorelectricalequipmentandmachines.Bothsingle-andmulti-channelfilterswithinoneenclosureareincludedwithinthescopeofthisgenericspecification.Filtersconstructedofcapacitiveelementswheretheinductanceisinherentintheconstructionofthefilterarewithinthescopeofthisspecification.Similarly,filtersconstructedofinductiveelementswherethecapacitanceisinherentintheconstructionofthefilterarealsowithinthescopeofthisgenericspecification.Themanufacturershallstatewhetheragivencomponentistobedesignedasacapacitor,aninductororafilter.Thefilterunitswithinthescopeofthisgenericspecificationarefurtherdistinguishedasthoseforwhichsafetytestsareappropriate(e.g.thoseconnectedtomainssupplies)andthoseforwhichsuchtestsarenotappropriate.Aseparatesectionalspecificationcoversthepassivefilterunitsforwhichsafetytestsareappropriate.Thisgenericspecificationestablishesstandardterms,inspectionproceduresandmethodsoftestforuseinsectionalanddetailspecificationswithintheIECQ-CECCsystemforelectroniccomponents.
